A note from my journal
A note from my journal
Let go and surrender to this emotion.
To the tightness
This feeling. This attitude. It does not serve you.
You won’t get anywhere harbouring this feeling. You won’t grow.
This feeling keeps you here. It keeps you stuck. It keeps you lonely. It keeps you sad. And it keeps you pushing people away.
While you serve yourself, in your best interest, you can still be in service to others, in their best interest.
Take a moment to reflect. To pause. To breathe deeply.
To consider the fork in the road.
Are you choosing the best path?
Or is there another way?
Are you coming from love, or is this fear talking?
Do you have faith?
Do you have trust in the universe or are you scared that what you truly desire will never truly be.
If it’s meant to be, then it will. The sooner you believe, the sooner it will be.
Why do you doubt what you are worthy of?
Why do you let overwhelm win?
You are still here aren’t you? Your heart still beats. Your lungs draw in your breath. Your left foot moves before your right. Your arms, hands, fingers write the words on this page and yet you still feel hopeless?
Not all hope is lost.
As long as you believe, you trust and you have faith. So long. So long, everything will be okay.
Nothing is perfect, yet everything is as intended.
Allow for life to challenge you. Allow for people to be your biggest mirror.
Allow life to happen for you. Not to you. Not around you.
Take back control. Take back the reins.
Don’t be afraid to give yourself time. Don’t be afraid to give yourself space.
That’s where the magic happens.
There is nothing to be gained in fearing what is happening around you.
Fear keeps you stuck.
Fear tells you what you think you know to be true. Fear reminds you of what happened in the past and assumes what will happen in you future.
But fear, unfortunately, isn’t that smart.
Fear makes mistakes and doesn’t own up to them. Fear gets in the way of love.
It’s how you choose to move through it and which way you choose to go.
Do you see past the bullshit of fear?
Do you choose love?
Let go of fear.
It sounds simple but it’s not.
To let go, you must first let it teach you.
Let it show you all the ways it’s not serving you. Let it be your challenge. Let it show you how wrong it is.
Let it remind you that it is not awake. It is not working in your best interest.
It’s not right.
What happened before, has happened. Why did it happen and how can it be different? That’s where you come in.
You are awake.
Awake with knowing, with better judgement, with awareness, with love.
Things only keep happening if you allow them.
Not all relationships are meant to fail. Not everyone will get sick of you.
The bubble doesn’t have to burst and it doesn’t have to be heavy. Allow time and space and love to heal. Trust in what you know to be true. It will lead the way.
Not all work has to be unfulfilling. Do you really believe that or is that what someone told you to believe? Why can’t you wake up and love what you do? Even if it’s not what you’re doing right now, it can be in the future. You deserve to wake up and love your life. Even with all its challenges.
Not all money is evil. Give it thanks and gratitude. You are its biggest limitation. The value you place on it and it’s uses to you are what shapes it’s worth. How can you make it worthy? How can you make it work for you? How can you gain control?
Allow today to be a lesson. And let that lesson become a blessing. And allow that blessing to change your life for the better.
