It's hard to find a decent granola, or muesli, that is low in sugar and high in nutrients. But not here! My Sugar-Free Granola is packed full of nutrients included omega-3, beta-glucan, dietary fibre and loads of vitamins and minerals, without any of the nasties.
Roughly chop your nuts of choice
Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl
Melt the organic butter in a saucer (for a vegan alternative use coconut oil) with the vanilla essence. Don't let the butter boil or burn! Keep stirring as it melts.
Pour the butter over the dry ingredients and mix through
Line a baking tray and spread out the granola
Place in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes
Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving
Best served with yoghurt (dairy-free or otherwise) with fresh berries and chia seeds!
